Simon “The interesting thing is, you came out here tonight 100% the favorite and I think you chose a song that didn’t have what you needed, the drama moment and this is the first time when I think you were beaten by somone and that was Siobhan and that’s why you’ve gotta to always come out with something bigger and better.”

Top 12 of American Idol Season 9!

Crystal Bowersox was officially named a member of the top 12 of season 9 of American Idol! Congratulations Crystal!! Next week starts theme weeks and they are kicking it off with the music of The Rolling Stones!! Crystal will rock!! The judges said this is her competition to lose! Good luck Crystal!!

Crystal sings Give Me One Reason by Tracy Chapman

Crystal is becoming such a popular contestant on American Idol not just with fans, but with the judges as well! Tonight she decided to sing Give Me One Reason by Tracy Chapman. While singing Kara and Ellen couldn’t seem to sit still in their seats they were dancing along the whole time. Here were the judges comments that only seemed to agree with their excitment during the performance.

Randy- “Yo– listen man– This is what the show is about for me!! Loved that! Loved you! Loved the song! loved the honesty! I’m a fan, I’m a fan!”

Ellen– needs new adjectives for her because she’s sick and tired of saying she’s amazing! Best performance of the night!!

Kara– said this is what we talk about when people need to know who they are because she totally knows who she is. This sounds like the type of record Crystal could be making and that makes her very excited.

Simon–”Uhhhh– You are one million, billion percent going to be in the top 12 next week!” He feels now she has her own confidence and right now “You are the one everyone has to beat- it’s yours to lose”
