Crystal Bowersox

Crystal is becoming such a popular contestant on American Idol not just with fans, but with the judges as well! Tonight she decided to sing Give Me One Reason by Tracy Chapman. While singing Kara and Ellen couldn’t seem to sit still in their seats they were dancing along the whole time. Here were the judges comments that only seemed to agree with their excitment during the performance.

Randy- “Yo– listen man– This is what the show is about for me!! Loved that! Loved you! Loved the song! loved the honesty! I’m a fan, I’m a fan!”

Ellen– needs new adjectives for her because she’s sick and tired of saying she’s amazing! Best performance of the night!!

Kara– said this is what we talk about when people need to know who they are because she totally knows who she is. This sounds like the type of record Crystal could be making and that makes her very excited.

Simon–”Uhhhh– You are one million, billion percent going to be in the top 12 next week!” He feels now she has her own confidence and right now “You are the one everyone has to beat- it’s yours to lose”

The girls were supposed to peroform first this week, on Tuesday, but after Crystal Bowersox was hospitalized and told she could not perform that night the guys willingly switched nights to allow her a day to recover and hopefully perform on Wednesday. She did recover and came out strong on Wed night. The judges were all impressed. Simon was extremly happy to see her not only perform but was even more glad she didn’t play the ’sympathy card.’ He mentioned how sick he knew she was and he was worried even that afternoon that she might not make it out. She not only opened the night but won over ALL the judges with her performance of “Long As I Can See The Light.”

Now the question is why was she in the hospital?
